Creative In-Ear Headphones

This past weekend I was doing laundry when I found that my iPhone headset, was in one of my pants pockets. Then a few days ago I lost my back-up iPod headphones, which was really disappointing. Luckily I remembered a little extra that I got with my laptop.
When I opened my M1530 notebook and found the Creative EP-630 In-Ear Headphones I didn’t really think anything of them. When I got my first iPod back in 2004, my parents bought me the iPod In-Ear headphones [not realizing the iPod came with headphones] and I never really used those. I always thought that the sound was too low and it made everything around me sound weird.
After using these headphones for a few days, I have really grown to LOVE them. When you are listening to music, you get a more rich sound, rather than a diluted sound from ambient noise. I can hear bass more, as well as an overall crispness to the audio. It’s also great for the environment I’m in [college] because I usually listen to music when I’m working on a drawing or project and need to be able to focus on what I’m doing with minimal, if any, distractions.
The only downside I really have with these is that the rubber cover of the buds tend to get a little dirty from being in your ear, but that is to be expected. They are, after all, IN EAR. But the build of the over all headphones more than makes up for it. They are very sturdy yet compact and elegant.
I would definitely recommend this pair of headphones to anyone who is looking to get something better than your standard iPod headphones. They are very good quality, at a really reasonable price. Plus if you have an iPod Touch, iPhone, or Black iPod, it would match a lot better than the current iPod/iPhone headphones do!
I really want to go back and get my iPod headphones from home so I can compare the two, which I probably will when I go home Thanksgiving break. I may do a comparison post then, so stay tuned for that!

I like in-ear headphones but like you said, they get a little dirty. I was reading about the new Apple In-Ear Headphones with the Microphone Integrated but they are very expensive ($79.00). I wonder how they sound for that price. Those Creative headphones that you review are really cool, they look even better than the ones that come with the every iPod and iPhones. I had a pair of JVC in-ear and i paid $19.99 at Wal-Mart and i lost them but i was regreting the purchase. Anyway, i like your blog, i check it out everyday. Take care and keep up the nice work.

Thanks for the feedback! I like the creative ones, and, again, when I get back home, I’m going to go back to my Apple headphones and see how they compare. I checked out your site and it’s great! Keep up the great work as well!
